"The opportunity to serve others was in the forefront of my decision in choosing a career in medicine. I'm in my third year at Loma Linda University, and I have found a great sense of community and endless ways to integrate and learn from many cultures and beliefs. I came here with the idea that through these interactions I would improve the lives of others; but they have definitely improved my life, too."

Do you kick, swing, run, bike, ski, throw, flip, skate, hike, jump, climb and/or swim? If so, there is a Seventh-day Adventist school to facilitate your active lifestyle. There are on-campus athletic events for men and women available at every Seventh-day Adventist school. Participate in basketball, racquetball, ice hockey, tennis, swimming, ping-pong, baseball, volleyball and countless other sports.

Some colleges even have specific athletic traditions that involve the entire campus and the surrounding towns.
