Start college with a life coach — Every first-year student gets a life coach for the entire school year. Your life coach is your person at Union — they’ll help you register for classes, acclimate to life at college and meet with you throughout the year to make sure you have everything you need to be successful.

Get free tutoring for any course — We embed tutors in many of the tougher first-year classes. These tutors have already completed the class successfully and will take it again with you to help along the way. Many classes also offer group tutoring sessions and you can even request an individual tutor if needed.

Plus, the Studio for Writing and Speaking provides tutors to help you build excellent research papers and speeches.

Grow spiritually with a mentor — HeartScan is a spiritual growth program that pairs students with an employee mentor. The two meet weekly throughout the semester to develop a growth plan focusing on personal worship, corporate worship and service.
