Sending Transcripts and Test Scores
After applying to your top colleges, you will also need to send official copies of your school transcripts and test scores. Submitting this documentation is an important part of the admissions process and even determining merit scholarships. Below is a list of where to send your transcripts and test scores for each accredited Adventist college and university, and tips for the admissions process.
High school counselors and registrars: See table below when student requests transcripts or test scores sent to Adventist colleges or universities in North America. Or click here to view/print the full list.
Have your transcripts sent after your junior year.
You can request your transcripts sent after you complete your junior year in high school and most of the colleges will use this to make a conditional admission decision. The decision is conditional because the college will still need to receive a final copy of your completed high school transcript showing you meet the admission requirements for your admission to be final. (If you are applying to Kettering College, wait until you complete the first semester of your senior year to send your transcript.) Click here to get the Transcript Request and Recommendation form.
Make your transcripts official.
It’s best to have transcripts sent directly from the high school registrar’s office to the college admissions office in a sealed envelope. If you have them sent early in your senior year, you may need to request them again upon completion of high school. See table below for addresses on where to have your transcripts sent.
Send test scores when registering for the ACT or SAT.
You can designate which colleges receive your test scores at the time you register to take the ACT or SAT (see codes for each school in the table below), or submit them anytime after the test by going here for ACT or here for SAT.
Verify receipt of your transcripts and test scores.
It’s a good idea to check with each college 2-3 weeks after you request your test scores and transcripts sent to be sure they have received them. Resubmit if necessary, and continue checking in until all necessary documentation has been received.
